Haekyoung Suh is an experienced commercial litigator specializing in the areas of contract disputes, business torts, construction defects, franchise termination, products liability, and civil appeals.  

Haekyoung graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in 1997, where she served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers Law Review.  Haekyoung graduated, with distinction, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1991.  

After completing an appellate clerkship with the Honorable William A. Dreier, P.J.A.D., she joined a large law firm in Bridgewater, New Jersey, where she was an associate, then litigation partner.  

Haekyoung is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (Appellate Practice and Franchise Law Committees), the New Jersey Defense Association (Products Liability Committee), the Hunterdon County Bar Association, and the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey.  Haekyoung serves on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee for Model Civil Jury Charges and the District XIII Ethics Committee for Hunterdon, Somerset and Warren Counties.  

Haekyoung is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, U.S. District Court, Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court.  

Haekyoung’s reported decisions include:  Smith v. Fireworks by Girone, Inc., 180 N.J. 199 (2004); Maintainco, Inc. v. Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Am., Inc., 408 N.J. Super. 461 (App. Div.), certif. denied, 200 N.J. 502 (2009); In re Adoption of 2003 Low Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified Allocation Plan, 369 N.J. Super. 2 (App. Div. 2004) (amicus brief); In re The Scoreboard, Inc., 238 B.R. 585 (D.N.J. 1999).
